Save South Sudan (SSS), formerly known as Nasir Community Development Agency (NCDA), has been working to improve access to quality education in South Sudan through various programs and partnerships. The education programs implemented by SSS have had a positive impact on children, especially girls, have access to quality education, improved learning outcomes, thanks to trained teachers and provision of scholastic materials, and the school feeding program and girls' incentives have contributed to reduced dropout rates, especially among girls.
Schools Construction:
SSS has constructed schools in various locations, providing safe and conducive learning environments for students and teachers
Scholastic Materials:
The organization has provided scholastic materials, such as textbooks, desks, and chairs, to schools, enabling students to access quality education.
Teachers Training:
SSS has trained teachers on effective teaching methodologies, subject matter expertise, and classroom management, enhancing the quality of education.
PTAs Training:
The organization has trained Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) on their roles and responsibilities, promoting community involvement in education.
School Feeding Program:
SSS has implemented school feeding programs, providing meals to students, and encouraging parents to send their children to school.
Girls food items Incentives:
SSS has implemented Food for Education/ Girls Insentives (FFE/GI) in 51 schools in Nasir County, providing girls with take home rations.
Girls Education in South Sudan
SSS has implemented the GESS program, providing support to girls' education, including cash transfers, mentorship, and life skills training.
Schools WASH:
The organization has implemented WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) programs in schools, promoting a healthy learning environment.

SSS has established school children clubs in the areas of health, protection, hygine and sanitation, Mine Risk Education and school gardening program.
Partners
SSS/NCDA has partnered with donor agencies, such as UNICEF, UNHCR, WFP, CARE, and FH etc. to fund its education programs.
